Privacy policy
Version of 19 October 2026
This privacy policy explains which personal data we collect when you visit our online shop livindahome.ch, place an order or contact us, what we use this data for and what rights you have. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What data we process
- Contact and order data: name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number, ordered products, configurations, order and delivery information.
- Payment data: selected payment method and payment status. Card details and bank details are collected directly by the relevant payment service provider; we do not receive them in full.
- Customer account: login details, order history and settings, if you create a customer account.
- Communication: the content of your enquiries by email, phone, WhatsApp or contact form.
- Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser information, pages visited, date and time of access and information from cookies and similar technologies.
- Marketing data: newsletter subscription, email opens and clicks, and your consents.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process your data:
- to conclude and perform contracts: order, payment, delivery, assembly, withdrawal, warranty and customer service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
- to comply with legal obligations, in particular commercial and tax retention obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR);
- to operate our shop securely and reliably, prevent misuse and fraud, assert or defend legal claims and improve our offer (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR);
- for analytics, marketing, personalised advertising and the newsletter, where you have given your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
4. Shopify platform
Our shop runs on the Shopify platform (contracting party for Europe: Shopify International Limited, Dublin, Ireland). Shopify stores and processes shop, order and customer data on our behalf; data may also be processed in Canada, the USA and other countries. For certain of its own functions, Shopify is itself the controller. You can find more information in Shopify's consumer privacy policy and on the Shopify privacy portal.
5. Order processing, shipping and accounting
For delivery, we pass your name, delivery address, phone number and, where needed to arrange a delivery appointment, your email address to our logistics and freight partners. For invoicing and accounting, we use the services of easybill GmbH and AccountOne GmbH (both Germany) as well as our tax advisers. If you use the product configurator, our service provider ObjectCode GmbH (Germany) processes your configuration data in order to provide the configuration in the shop.
6. Payment processing
Depending on the payment method offered in the shop and chosen by you, we pass the data required for payment to the relevant payment service provider, in particular:
- PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg;
- Mollie B.V., Amsterdam, Netherlands, for payments by credit card and TWINT; for TWINT, TWINT AG, Zurich, Switzerland, is also involved.
The payment service providers process your data partly under their own responsibility and may carry out identity or security checks to prevent fraud. The privacy information of the relevant provider also applies.
7. Customer account and contact
If you create a customer account, we store your details so that you can view your orders and manage your data. You can have your account deleted at any time. If you contact us by email, phone or contact form, we use your details to handle your enquiry. If you use the WhatsApp button, communication takes place via WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland, with data transfer to the USA); WhatsApp's privacy terms also apply.
8. Newsletter, email marketing and reviews
You only receive our newsletter with your consent. We use Klaviyo (Klaviyo, Inc., Boston, USA) to send it. We analyse whether and when emails are opened and links clicked in order to improve our content. We only send reminders about products in your cart or similar products if you have consented or where this is permitted by law. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email or by contacting us.
After a purchase, we may ask you by email to leave a review. We use the Loox service (Loox Ltd., Israel) for this. Whether you leave a review is entirely up to you; published reviews are shown in the shop with your first name or a shortened name.
9. Cookies and consent management
We use cookies and similar technologies. We use technically necessary cookies, for example for the cart, checkout, language selection and security, without consent. We only use all other cookies and tracking technologies if you have consented in the cookie banner. We use Consentmo for the banner and to store your choice. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the cookie settings in the shop.
10. Analytics and marketing
Only with your consent may we use the following services to analyse the use of our shop, measure advertising and show you relevant advertising on other websites:
- Google (Google Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland, and Google LLC, USA): Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads and the connection with Google Merchant Center / Google & YouTube;

These providers may also use data for their own purposes and combine it with other data, for example if you have an account with them. Details can be found in the privacy information of the respective providers.
11. Disclosure abroad
Some of the providers mentioned are based outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area, in particular in the USA, Canada, Israel and Vietnam. We only transfer data to countries with an adequate level of data protection recognised by the Swiss Federal Council or the European Commission, or subject to appropriate safeguards, in particular the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (with the adjustments required for Switzerland) or certification under the Swiss-U.S. or EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Where you have consented to processing by analytics or marketing services, this consent also covers the related transfer.
12. Retention period
We only store your data for as long as necessary for the purposes stated. Due to legal obligations, we generally retain contract and invoice data for ten years. We keep newsletter data until you unsubscribe and data from contact enquiries until they have been fully dealt with. The retention period of cookies is shown in the cookie banner.
13. Your rights
Within the scope of applicable law, you have the right to access the data we hold about you, to rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, and to receive or transfer your data. You can object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interest, in particular processing for advertising purposes. You can withdraw any consent given at any time; processing carried out up to that point remains lawful. To exercise your rights, a message to info@livinda.de is sufficient. To prevent misuse, we may ask for proof of identity.
We do not make automated individual decisions.
14. Complaints to a supervisory authority
You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In Switzerland, this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern, www.edoeb.admin.ch. In Germany, the authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia, Düsseldorf, www.ldi.nrw.de.
15. Data security
We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures. The connection to our shop is encrypted with TLS. However, no one can guarantee completely secure data transmission over the internet.
16. Changes
We update this privacy policy when our offer, the services we use or the legal situation change. The version published on this page applies.
